Companies in this sub-class make, repair or maintain light bulbs, tubes, lamps and lighting fixtures, and their parts. Examples are fluorescent, incandescent, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, ceiling fixtures, chandeliers, table lamps, Christmas lights, flashlights, insect lamps, spotlights, street lights, and lights for vehicles, aircraft and boats.

It also includes lanterns and other non-electric lighting, electric fireplace logs and silver reflectors. LEDs, traffic lights and electrical signs are classified elsewhere.
