SSIC Sub-class 46100 – Wholesale on a fee or commission basis

Companies in this sub-class trade goods for and on behalf of others. They do not take ownership of the goods; they act for a principal and earn a fee or commission.

This covers agents who bring sellers and buyers together or make deals for a principal by means other than the Internet, and wholesale auction houses. Online marketplaces that take a fee are classified elsewhere, and so are agents that trade in their own name.
