Companies in this sub-class publish collections of facts and information whose form, but not content, is protected. Examples are mailing lists, telephone books, statistics and financial databases, and compilations such as case law or pharmaceutical guides.

The content can be in print or electronic form, or on the internet. Companies that both publish and print are included.
