SSIC Sub-class 60200 – Television programming and broadcasting

Companies in this sub-class make or buy television content and put it together into a full channel, then broadcast it or supply it to cable or satellite providers. The channels can be general or specialised, free or by subscription, and over the air, by satellite, cable or internet.

Video-on-demand channels, video streaming of content made by others, broadcasts of live theatre and sites for watching video game play are also included. The production of single programmes is classified elsewhere.
