SSIC Division 64 – Financial service activities (except insurance and pension funding)
Companies in this division raise, hold and lend money. It covers all financial services other than insurance and pension funding.
The division includes the central bank, full, wholesale and merchant banks, and finance companies that take deposits. It also covers holding companies, trusts and investment funds, financial leasing, credit cards, moneylenders, pawnbrokers, factoring, remittance and treasury centres.
