SSIC Sub-class 87021 – Residential care services for the elderly

Companies in this sub-class give accommodation and personal care to people who cannot fully care for themselves, mainly the elderly, where medical treatment is not an important part of the service.

Care usually includes a room, meals, supervision, help with daily living and sometimes counselling. Examples are assisted-living facilities, homes for the elderly with minimal nursing care, and rest homes without nursing care.
